Season Tickets for next Season

This season we increased our club holding of home season tickets to 10, but sadly due to the repeatedly poor take up during this season the decision has been made to go back down to 8. This will reduce the money making capability from the tickets to ‘keep us afloat’ and I think will result in subscriptions going up to make up the difference.

Tickets were bought to provide a facility to the members, but if you don’t want it or use it, then we won’t provide it. As always, this will be reviewed this time next year for the following season.

Season Tickets 2010 – 11

It is that time of year when we all have to dig deep into our finances to find the money to renew our season tickets, most of you I’m sure will be renewing in the usual way, but there may be some of you out there that are either giving yours up or looking to get a season ticket.

As I’m sure most of you know the DDCWWFCSC has a block of some 60 seats in the North Bank at Molineux, and each year there is a few changes to our seating arrangements. I know of 2 members that are not renewing and have 2 other members that are ready to take them on. But if you are giving yours up I need to know in case one of the other members wants it. So please let me know ASAP so steps can be made to safe guard our block.

With regards to the seats belonging to the DDCWWFCSC next season, we shall be reducing the number from 10 back down to 8. This is because the take up by you the members this season has not been what we expected, and it has been quite a struggle to sell them. Sales can make or break our financial year and although we are still well in profit, we are not doing as well as we wanted too. One is going back to the member who we bought it from, the other is being given up.

So if your arrangements are changing please let us know so we can help as many members as is practicable.

Cath Protheroe

Clive has asked me to let it be known on the website how poorly his wife Cath has been over the last few weeks since the dinner. She was unwell in the run up to the Dinner but worsened in the week following, and sought urgent medical assistance.

This resulted in Cath having an emergency liver transplant. This happened in the first week of February and she is now doing well and recovering. The

speed and severity of the illness has been the most startling aspect, but hopefully Cath’s recovery will continue and she’ll be allowed home shortly.

I’m sure that all of the members of the DDCWWFCSC join me in wishing Cath a speedy recovery.

This increases our overall total to £2683 that has been raised for Cancer Research at our last 4 dinners. well done and thank you to all concerned.

New Honorary Member Announced

At the Dinner held at the Staverton Park Hotel on Saturday 16th of January Wolves Director John Gough was invited to become an Honorary Member of the club. And in front of a packed room of members and guests he accepted our invitation.

A popular decision with all present comes after building a strong relationship with John since he attended his first DDCWWFCSC Dinner in 2008.

John’s profile will added into the Honorary Members section during the next few days.
